Literary Arts is a program that infuses literature in the arts. The program is based on arts standards, but also, incorporates thematic topics by grade level and book of the month. The goal is for students to have an art experience in school. Secondly, children are learning to appreciate other people's artwork, as well as their own. Exploring, creating and looking at artwork are ways children can express their
thoughts and ideas in Literary Art Class.
We are working on color, line, shape, form, space and texture. We apply these skills in our artwork and the center of our artwork is based around environmental and famous artists.
We post our artwork in the building to show our appreciation for art and to display our masterpieces!
