Hello! My name is Cheng Her and I have been teaching Kindergarten in St. Paul Schools for 8 years and other grades. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Crown College as well as a Master of Arts in Education from Hamline University. I am so happy to be teaching here at Battle Creek Elementary School.
I believe that all children can learn in their own time and own pace and as a kindergarten teacher, I would like to provide them with a positive first school year experience to be fun, engaging, enjoyable, and full of learning experiences.

* We want learning to be joyful, full of movement, music, and positive interactions.
* We provide many different hands-on experiences for our young learning using concrete materials and manipulative. We want our young learners to respect all: themselves, others and our world.
* We promote opportunities for involvement by families in the leaning process through weekly homework, daily book Baggies, and family night programs.
* Battle Creek Elementary Magnet School is a great place for Kindergarten learners!
