Battle Creek Elementary has a partnership with the University of
Minnesota and the Graduate Fellows & Environmental Biology in K-12 Education. It is a project that allows three
graduate students to work with teachers and students from our school
for
the '05-'06 school year. The goal of the GK-12 project is to educate
graduate students to be better communicators of their science, with
K-12 teachers and students in particular, and with the broader
community of non-scientists in
general.
