Awards Assembly Notice
On September 18, 2009, you received a letter from BCE regarding influenza-like illness and suggestions for keeping your children healthy. The awards assemblies, which were scheduled for October 1st and November 19th have been cancelled (it is possible that the assembly scheduled for December 21st may be cancelled also). Battle Creek Environmental Magnet Elementary School will follow the recommendations from the district’s Health and Wellness department to refrain from large group assemblies.
Instead of a school assembly, students will receive their awards (one student per month will be chosen for the “Student of the Month”, Literacy, and Math award) in their individual classrooms on the dates noted above at 2:00 p.m. If your student was chosen for an award, his/her teacher will notify you via telephone or email.

El 18 de Septiembre del 2009, usted recibió de la escuela BCE una carta acerca de la gripe-como enfermedad y las sugerencias para mantener a sus niños(as) sanos y saludables.
Las premiaciones de entrega de diplomas que estaban programados para el 1 de Octubre y el 19 de Noviembre, an sido cancelados ( también es posible que la asamblea programada para el 21 de Diciembre, puede ser cancelada) Battle Creek Enviromental Magnet Elementary School seguirán las recomendaciones del Departamento de Salud,
