Social Work Peggy Thomsen, M.S.W., L.I.C.S.W, is the Social Worker at Battle Creek Environmental Magnet School. Peggy works with students who qualify for special education services and are shown to need direct instruction on social skills, behavior management, and emotional support. She works with classroom teachers, parents, and staff to implement systematic plans for reinforcing positive school behavior. Additionally, Peggy makes referrals to community agencies for students and families according to their needs. updated: November 9, 2006


 Positive Parenting   Positive Parenting offers parents effective parenting tools and strategies that will benefit families of infants, school age children, and teenagers. Promotes effective ways to nurture and discipline children, help parents meet challenges, and find positive solutions to complex situations.
