Hello!
I have been teaching music at Battle Creek for eighteen years. My educational background consist of a Masters in Music Education with a concentration in vocal music.
Children enter Battle Creek filled with the natural desire to create and make music. I believe it is my responsiblity to nurture that desire through guided musical experiences and activities.
Battle Creek students spend several weeks during the school year exploring the wonders of music. Students participate in age appropriate music activities  | | Music in action |
including movement/folk dance, finger play, song time, create and play, game time, music technology, literacy through music and science through music.
The "Show-n-Tell", a 3M Volunteer Program, and Upbeat which is a partnerships between the Saint Paul Schools and the Minnesota Orchestra are activities sponsored by community and musical organizations to enrich the experiences of Battle Creek students in music. All activities encourage students in their quest of understanding music. Students celebrate our environmental focus through singing, composing songs, and creative play.
